This podcast is to spotlight, discuss and question sapphic media representation in both media and culture in past and present, and what we are yearning for in the future! We are experiencing a “lesbian renaissance”, with music from Chapell Roan, Megan Thee Stallion, Hayley Kiyoko, boygenius and Billie Eilish being pushed to the mainstream, clearly signalling that the sapphics are HUNGRY to feel seen, heard and understood... yet, when it comes to our TV shows, our films, and our beloved characters we are being continually pushed to the side, mis-represented, used for trauma-porn, for tragedy, and often left cancelled... and this needs to change.

Each week we will be bringing on fellow queer/sapphic identifying creatives to discuss, analyse and poke fun at the work they’re currently consuming, making, and/or wanting to see, and chatting about everything from the cultural touch-stones that made us realise we were gay, to the obviously queer ships that devastatingly never became canon, as well as weighing in on the sapphic-news of the moment

(because SOMEONE’S gotta do it).
